Star Wars Celebrities – Hello There, Obi-Wan Kenobi!

When Owen Lars invited Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi to meet Luke Skywalker in the series finale of his Star Wars Celebrities prequel, he said “Hello there.” This one-liner has gone on to inspire numerous memes.

Emma Roberts posted a picture on Instagram with the caption “Hello there.” She received a barrage of comments that included General Grievous’ menacing response from Revenge of the Sith.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

When Ewan McGregor donned the robes of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi in 1999’s Star Wars prequel The Phantom Menace, he was instantly beloved by fans. The character personified wisdom and knowledge and the Force, making him instantly quotable and iconic. Now, decades later, he’s back for the first time since Revenge of the Sith in Disney+’s new series, Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The six-episode series has already had fans buzzing. It’s a return to the galaxy far, far away that brought back nostalgia and a rekindling of love for the character.

The Jedi Master

Although the show does a great job of showing us the life of the Jedi Master, it also leaves many questions unanswered. For example, what’s the name of Kenobi’s home planet? It’s called Stewjon in canon and legend.

It’s also a question that fans have been wondering for years, but it would have made no sense for the series to reveal it. It would have ruined the mystery of the character and taken away from his journey.

After all, he was left alone to face the ultimate test when his apprentice Anakin turned to the dark side and became Darth Vader. And that’s a fight he ultimately won. Nevertheless, the fact that it was left unsaid still lingers in the mind of many viewers. Especially because of the way it was teased in the trailer.

Disney+ Series Obi-Wan Kenobi

He has a number of projects in the works, including the upcoming Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi. He recently spoke about the show and his return to the franchise on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

In the interview, he spoke about how much the character means to him and his desire to give the audience an accurate portrayal of the Jedi Master.

In addition to his upcoming Star Wars project. McGregor is reteaming with co-star Liam Neeson for the Apple TV+ family drama Raymond and Ray. The two actors play siblings who reunite at their father’s funeral and share memories—both good and bad—of him. They discuss how he has impacted their lives and the legacy he hopes to leave behind.

Jack Black

Jack Black has always seemed like a fun guy to hang out with. His goofy humor is incredibly infectious and is always paired with a level of seriousness that makes him more than just a slapstick comedian.

He’s known for his role as one half of the rock duo Tenacious D (with Kyle Gass), and for films like High Fidelity, School of Rock, Nacho Libre, Tropic Thunder, Kung Fu Panda, Be Kind Rewind, and Year One. He’s also the host of the Comedy Central show Kung Fu TNT.

Although he’s best known for his comedic talent, Black is actually a very talented musician. He plays guitar and is well-versed in a variety of genres. His improvisational skills are impressive, and he often incorporates his musical talents into his acting.

Friend’s Place

When he’s not acting, Black is busy being a devoted father and husband. He’s married to Tanya Haden, who is a vocalist, cellist, and visual artist.

Her mother is jazz double bassist Charlie Haden, so you can see where the family’s passion for music comes from. Black is also very active in charity work, doing things like hosting events for Red Nose Day and raising money for My Friend’s Place.

His humility is a breath of fresh air in Hollywood where egos and self-promotion rule the roost. He’s a star with real talent and heart, and we can’t wait to see what he does next.
